Abstract


Infusion ofintravenousfluids aretoreplacefluid lostfrom thebodybyusingthe infusionset givenfluids mustbe·truebecauseiftheexcessordeficiencycanleadtoheart failure,cirrhosisof theliverandkidneydisorders:Universaldripcountperminuteisatoolthat isusedto calculatethedripforone minuteusingsuchsensorsandinfraredphotodiode.Witha microcontrollerICsystemATMega8,whichiscontrolledtimers,countersdisplayedonthe LCD,andthebuzzerasamarkerof timecountinghasbeencompleted.

Researchandmanufacturingofthismoduleusing pre-experimentalmethodwithtype research"OnegroupPostDesign".Inthisstudyonlylookattheresults oftreatment(adding InfraredsensorandPhotodioda)onagroupofobjects(UniversalDripCountPerMinute)with nocomparisongroupandthecontrolgroup.

Basedoncalculationsdropletsobtaineddatafor thetypeofinfusionset15 dropsImlobtaineddropletserrorof1.3%.Forthesetypesofinfusionsets20 dropsImlobtaineddroplets errorof 1%.Forthesetypesofinfusionsets60drops/mlobtaineddropletserrorof0.3%.From themeasurementdataandanalysis,itcan beconcludedthatthetoolscanworkwell.
