HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL KELUARGA DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK ANAK AUTISME RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE FAMILY SOCIAL SUPPORT WITH THE MOTORIC DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AUTISM

Abstract


Autis merupakan kumpulan gejala gangguan perilaku atau adanya hambatan dalam perkembangan perilaku antara lain perilaku wicara dan okupasi yang tidak berkembang seperti anak normal. Gangguan ini menyebabkan anak penyandang autis tidak mampu membentuk hubungan sosial atau mengembangkan komunikasi yang normal. Karena itu dukungan sosial khususnya dari keluarga terhadap anak autis sangat diperlukan. Keluarga menjadi media dalam membantu anak penyandang autis dalam penyesuaian diri dengan lingkungan seiring dengan rentang kehidupannya. Penelitian menggunakan desain Analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional.  Variabel bebas penelitian adalah dukungan sosial keluarga, Variabel tergantungnya adalah perkembangan motorik anak penyandang autis. Analisis data dengan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dengan perkembangan motorik anak penyandang autisme. Sebagian besar dukungan sosial keluarga pada siswa penyandang autisme baik (60%). Sebagian besar perkembangan motorik siswa penyandang autisme baik (55%). Perlu upaya peningkatan pembinaan kepada orang tua agar lebih intensif memberikan dukungan sosial dan latihan motorik ketika berada di rumah agar perkembangan motorik anak terus meningkat dengan baik

Autism is symptoms of behavior disorder or obstructions in the development of behaviors such as speech and occupational behaviors which do not grow as a normal child, whereas the two types of behavior are important for communication and socialization. This disorder causes children with autism are not able to form social relationship or develop normal communication, so that causes the children is being isolated from the human contact. The presence of behavior disorder particularly the social interaction, social support especially from the family to the autistic children is necessary, because the family becomes a medium in helping children with autism in adjustment to the environment in line with the life time. This research is using Analytic design by using Cross Sectional approach, while the variable researches consist of: The independent variable is family social support, Dependent is the motoric development of children with autism. The data analysis is using Chi-Square. The result of research is there is a relationship between the social support of the family with the motoric development of the autism children. The majority of family social support to students with autism better (60%). Most of the motor development of students with autism are good (55%). Necessary efforts to improve guidance to parents to be more intensive social support and exercise motor when it was in the house so that the motor development of children continues to increase with both
