HUBUNGAN KONSUMSI KALSIUM PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DENGAN KEJADIAN KRAM KAKI THE RELATIONSHIP OF CALCIUM INTAKE IN THIRD TRIMESTER PREGNANT WOMEN WITH THE INCIDENCE OF FOOT CRAMPS
Abstract
Kebutuhan kalsium pada ibu hamil sangat tinggi karena diperlukan untuk pembentukan tulang janin. Kadar kalsium dalam darah wanita hamil menurun sampai 5% dari wanita normal. Apabila asupan dan persediaan kalsium ibu kurang maka pembentukan tulang bayi kurang sempurna. Akibatnya ibu mengalami kram, nyeri sendi, caries, dan osteoporosis. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan konsumsi kalsium pada ibu hamil trimester III dengan kejadian kram kaki. Desain penelitian adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah semua ibu hamil yang periksa di Poli hamil RS. DKT Sidoarjo sebanyak 55 ibu, besar sampel penelitian adalah 48 ibu hamil trimester III yang diambil menggunakan consecutive sampling. Variabel independen adalah konsumsi kalsium pada ibu hamil trimester II. Variabel dependen adalah kram kaki pada ibu hamil trimester III. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan kuesioner. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan dan analisis menggunakan uji Exact Fisher α=0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian sebagian besar (54,2%) ibu hamil trimester III tidak pernah mengkonsumsi kalsium, Hampir setengahnya (43,8%) ibu hamil trimester III sering sekali mengalami kram kaki, dan Terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi kalsium dengan kejadian kram kaki pada ibu hamil trimester III (P=0,036<α=0,05). Disarankan bagi ibu hamil khususnya pada trimester III tetap mengkonsumsi tablet kalsium dan diimbangi dengan mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung kalsium serta melakukan pencegahan terjadinya kram kaki.

The need for calcium in pregnant women is very high because it is needed for fetal bone formation. Levels of calcium in the blood of pregnant women decreased to 5% of normal. If the supply of calcium intake and bone formation is less then the mother is less than perfect baby. As a result women experience cramps, joint pain, caries, and osteoporosis. The research aims to identify the relationship of calcium intake in third trimester pregnant women with the incidence of foot cramps. The study design was cross sectional correlational approach. The study population was all pregnant women who are pregnant check in RS. DKT Sidoarjo. Variable of Independent is Consumption Calcium At Mother Pregnancy of Trimester 3 while variable dependent is Occurence Of Cramps Foot At Mother Pregnancy of Trimester 3. This Research use study desain of korelasoinal with sectional cross which sampel the used is 48 pregnant mother of trimester 3 from totalizeing population counted 55 pregnant mother of trimester 3 using consecutive sampling. Data collection tool using a questionnaire. Further processing and analysis performed using Fisher's Exact test α = 0.05. Conclusion The majority of studies (54.2%) third trimester pregnant women not consume calcium, nearly half (43.8%) third trimester pregnant women often experience foot cramps, and There is a relationship between calcium intake with the incidence of foot cramps in pregnant women third trimester (p=0.036 <α=0.05). It is recommended for pregnant women, especially in the third trimester and continue to consume calcium tablets offset by consuming foods that contain calcium and prevention of food cramps.
