HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU DENGAN KEBERHASILAN TOILET TRAINING

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

Toilet training merupakan usaha melatih anak agar mampu mengontrol buang air kecil dan buang air besar. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dengan keberhasilan toilet training  anak usia todler (1-3 tahun). Metode penelitian analitik korelasi  dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki  anak usia 1-3 tahun di Posyandu Raflesia 4 Kemayoran Baru Surabaya. Besar sampel 32 orang diambil menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Variabel independen adalah pengetahuan dan sikap ibu, variabel dependennya adalah keberhasilan toilet training anak. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan ceklist toilet training dari Wang (2003). Analisis menggunakan uji statistik Spearman. Hasil penelitian didapatkan adanya hubungan antara Pengetahuan Ibu dengan Keberhasilan Toilet Training  Anak (ρ=0,00<α=0,05). Ibu yang mempunyai pengetahuan baik sebanyak 88,9% kemampuan toilet training anaknya adalah baik pula. Sedangkan ibu yang berpengetahuan kurang, sebagian besar (71,4%) kemampuan toilet training anaknya adalah cukup dan sebesar 28,6% masih kurang berhasil. Terdapat Hubungan Sikap Ibu dengan Keberhasilan Toilet Training Anak (ρ=0,01<α=0,05). Ibu yang mempunnyai sikap positif tentang toilet training hampir seluruhnya (94,4%) kemampuan toilet training anaknya baik. Ibu yang mempunnyai sikap negatif tentang toilet training sebagian besar (64,3%) kemampuan toilet training anaknya adalah cukup.

Toilet training is an attempt to train children to be able to control urination and defecation. The purpose was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mother with successful toilet training toddlers aged children. . Analytic research methods with cross sectional correlation. The population is all mothers of children aged 1-3 years in Posyandu Raflesia 4 Kemayoran Baru Surabaya. A large sample of 32 people with simple random sampling. The independent variable is the knowledge and attitude of the mother, the dependent variable is the success of toilet training. Data collection using toilet training checklist of Wang. Data analysis using Spearman's test . The results showed an association between Knowledge with success Toilet Training Children (ρ=0.00<α=0.05). Mothers who have a good knowledge of 88.9% as much as their ability to toilet training is good too. While mothers are less knowledgeable, most (71.4%) the ability toilket his training was adequate and 28.6% was less successful. There Relationship Success Attitude Mothers with Toilet Training Children (ρ=0.01<α=0.05). Mothers who positive attitude about potty training is almost entirely (94.4%) the ability of toilet training her well. Mothers who negative attitudes about toilet training the majority (64.3%) the ability of his toilet training is sufficient.
