PENERAPAN EPIDEMIOLOGI DALAM PROSES KEPERAWATAN KESEHATAN KOMUNITAS

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Epidemiologi merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu yang tidak terpisahkan dari pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan komunitas. Pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan komunitas dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan dikatakan berhasil apabila dapat mengatasi masalah kesehatan yang terdistribusi di komunitas beserta faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Disamping itu, pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan komunitas menekankan pada pelayanan  promotif dan preventif tanpa mengabaikan pelayanan kuratif dan rehabilitatif yang merupakan salah satu bidang garap epidemiologi. Artikel ini memberikan penjelasan sederhana bagaimana penerapan kegiatan epidemiologi dalam pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan komunitas dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan.

ABSTRACT

Epidemiology is a branch of science that is inseparable from community health nursing services. Community health nursing services to nursing process approach is successful if it can address health issues in communities distributed along with the factors that influence it. In addition, community health nursing services emphasis on preventive and promotive services without neglecting curative and rehabilitative services which is one of the areas of work on epidemiology. This article gives a simple explanation of how the application of the epidemiology activities in community health nursing services to nursing process approach.
