KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT MULTI DRUG THERAPY DAN KESEMBUHAN PADA KLEIN KUSTA TIPE MULTI BACILLARY DI PUSKESMAS JENU, KABUPATEN TUBAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK

            Penyakit kusta disebabkan Mycobacterium Leprae bersifat intraselluler yang menyerang syaraf tepi kecuali otak (Kementrian Kesehatan RI,2015)  Di Puskesmas Jenu tahun 2016 angka kesembuhan klein kusta tipe MB sebesar 76,4%, dan belum mencapai target Release From Treatment (RFT) sebesar 100%. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kepatuhan minum obat Multi Drug Therapy (MDT)  dan kesembuhan  klein Kusta tipe MB  di Puskesmas Jenu, Kabupaten Tuban. Desain penelitian Deskriptif, populasi Seluruh klein kusta tipe MB yang berobat di Puskesmas jenu, Sampel 30 orang, tehnik samplingnya total populasi. Variabel penelitian Kepatuhan minum obat MDT dan Kesembuhan klein kusta tipe MB, data diperoleh dari kohort  klein kusta RFT  tipe MB 36 bulan (Januari 2015- Desember 2017). Setelah data terkumpul ditabulasi, dan dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan  hampir seluruhnya (100%) klein kusta tipe MB  patuh minum obat MDT   sebanyak 77%, dinyatakan Sembuh, klein kusta yang patuh  dan tidak patuh  minum obat MDT  seluruhnya (100%) dinyatakan sembuh secara klinis. Dukungan keluarga dalam pengawasan minum obat dan kebutuhan asupan gizi bagi klein kusta selama pengobatan sangat dibutuhkan.  Stigma tentang klein Penyakit kusta harus disingkirkan dalam kehidupan  bermasyarakat, dengan dukungan masyarakat dalam  pengobatan kusta dapat memutus  rantai penularan kusta.

ABSTRACT

Leprosy caused by Mycobacterium Leprae is intracellular which attacks the peripheral nerves except the brain (Indonesian Ministry of Health, 2015) In Jenu Health Center in 2016 the cure rate for MB type of leprosy is 76.4%, and has not reached the RFT target of 100%. The purpose of this research is to know the compliance of taking MDT medicine and healing of MB leprosy sufferers in Jenu Health Center, Tuban Regency. Descriptive research design, population All MB leprosy clients who seek treatment at the Jenen Community Health Center, 30 samples, total population sampling technique. Research variable Compliance taking MDT medication and healing of MB leprosy type patients, data obtained from the cohort of people with leprosy type MB RFT 36 months (January 2015 - December 2017). After the data collected is tabulated, and analyzed with descriptive statistics. Obtained almost all (100%) MB leprosy clients compliant to take MDT medicine as much as 77%, stated Healed, leprosy patients who are obedient and not compliant to take MDT medication entirely (100%) declared cured clinically. Family support in the supervision of taking medication and nutritional intake needs for lepers during treatment is needed. The stigma about leprosy clients must be removed in social life, with community support in the treatment of leprosy can break the chain of leprosy transmission.
