Abstract

diabetes melitus type 2 is a metabolic disorder that is characterized by the increase of blood glucose levels as a result of insulin resistance. The insulin resistance leads to oxidative streess which stimulates the production of uric acid. this study aims to determine the relationship between fasting blood glucose levels and uric acid levels in patients of diabetes mellitus type 2 at district base hospital (RSUD) Dr. Soedono Madiun. This type of research is categorized as observational analytic.
