HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEBIASAAN MAKAN PAGI DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 Makan pagi banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan dan tubuh antara lain memberi energi untuk tubuh, meningkatkan asupan vitamin, memperbaiki memori, meningkatkan daya tahan terhadap stress, memperkuat ikatan dalam keluarga dan mengontrol berat badan.  Tujuan penelitian mengkaji hubungan makan pagi dengan prestasi belajar. Jenis penelitian adalah analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan longitudinal model. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 3 dan 4 SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 38 siswa yang diambil secara random. Variabel bebas adalah kebiasaan makan pagi sedangkan variabel terikat adalah prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 3 dan 4 SMK Dr. Soetomo  Surabaya.  Pengumpulan  data  menggunakan  cheklist. Analisis  data  menggunakan  uji  korelasi Sperman rank. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar (57,4%) siswa biasa makan pagi kurang sehat dan sebagian besar (78,7%) siswa memiliki prestasi belajar baik. Hasil analisis didapatkan t hitung = 8,51>t tabel= 2,00 sehingga didapatkan adanya hubungan antara kebiasaan makan pagi sehat dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 3 dan 4 SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BREAKFAST AND THE ACHIEVEMENT

 

ABSTRACT

 The breakfast could get some advantages for health and body which are giving energy, increasing vitamin consumption, improving the memory, increasingimmune body toward getting stress, strengthening the relationship in family, and controlling weight. This study used analytic correlation with longitudinal approach. The population in this study were the eleventh grade of accountancy stream students in class accountancy 3 and 4 in SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya within 2012/2013 school years. The researcher used simple random sample method for the sampel used. The independent variable was the breakfast while the dependent variable was the achievement of the eleventh grade of accountancy 3 and 4 in SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. To collect the data used cheklist method. Analyze used spearmank rank correlation test. The result was obtained the majority (57,4%) students were used to eat less healthy breakfast and almost entirely (78,7%) students had good learning achievement. The result of statiscal analysis by using Spearman rank correlation test with H0 rejection criteria was t count > t table (if n > 30). As the result, it was obtained t count = 8,51 and t table = 2,00, so H0 was rejected. The conclusion of this study was there was correlation between the habbit of healthy breakfast and the achievement of the eleventh grade of accountancy stream students in class accountancy 3 and 4 in SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.
