ASUPAN KALSIUM DAN MAGNESIUM MAHASISWI JURUSAN KEPERAWATAN YANG MENGALAMI SINDROM PREMENSTRUASI

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

Tujuan umum penelitian adalah mengkaji konsumsi kalsium dan magnesium mahasiswi jurusan keperawatan yang mengalami kejadian sindrom premenstruasi. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah sebagian mahasiswi Prodi D III keperawatan Sutopo Kampus Surabaya dan Prodi D IV Keperawatan Surabaya yang mengalami PMS yang diambil secara acak sederhana. (simple random sampling). Besar sampel sebesar 20 orang. Variabel penelitian adalah Konsumsi kalsium dan magnesium mahasiswi jurusan Keperawatan yang mengalami premenstruasi Sindrom (PMS). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Prodi D III keperawatan Sutopo Kampus Surabaya dan Prodi DIV Keperawatan Gawat Darurat Surabaya. Bahan dan instrumen penelitian sebagai berikut form food recall  dan Menstrual Cycle Diary dari National Women’s Health Resource Center. Analaisis dan Pengolahan data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Mahasiswi yang mengalami hampir seluruhnya (90%) tidak mencukupi angka kebutuhan gizi.  Seluruh mahasisiwi tidak mengkonsumsi bahan sediaan magnesium. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat keparahan gejala PMS yang dialami oleh mahasiswa:  Nyeri sendi/otot dialami oleh  sebagian besar (55%) mahasiswi dalam tingkat  sedang; Mudah tersinggung dialami  sebagian (50%) mahasiswi dalam tingkat  sedang; Sulit konsentrasi dialami oleh sebagian (30%) mahasiswi dalam tingkat  ringan; Perubahan mood mendadak dialami oleh lebih dari sebagian (65%) mahasiswi; Gugup dialami oleh hampir sebagian (45%) mahasiswi.

ABSTRACT

 

The general objective of the study is to assess the consumption of calcium and magnesium student in nursing, who experienced premenstrual syndrome. This study was descriptive. Samples were partially Prodi DIII nursing student Sutopo Campus Surabaya Surabaya Prodi D IV Nursing experiencing PMS taken randomly. (simple random sampling). The sample size of 20 people. The research variables are consumption of calcium and magnesium student majoring in Nursing who experience premenstrual syndrome (PMS). The experiment was conducted in Prodi DIII nursing Sutopo Surabaya and Prodi DIV Campus Emergency Nursing Surabaya. Materials and research instruments as follows form food recall and Menstrual Cycle Diary of the National Women's Health Resource Center. Analaisis and descriptive data processing is done. The results showed student who experienced almost entirely (90%) did not meet the nutritional needs of numbers. The whole mahasisiwi not consume magnesium preparations. The results showed the severity of PMS symptoms experienced by students: Painful joints / muscles experienced by most (55%) female students in the medium level; Irritability experienced by the majority (50%) female students in the moderate level; Difficult concentration experienced by the majority (30%) female students in light level; Sudden mood changes experienced by more than the majority (65%) female students; Nervousness experienced by almost half (45%) female students.
