PENGARUH PEMBERIAN LARUTAN BIJI SRIKAYA (Annona Squamosa L) TERHADAP MORTALITAS PEDICULUS HUMANUS VAR.CAPITIS

Abstract


Pediculosis capitis is a skin irritation caused by the human head louse is Pediculus humanus var
head. capitis. Pediculosis capitis has become endemic throughout the world, both developed and
developing countries. Annona squamosa L. or sugar apple is one of the plants of the annonaceae
species that can be used as a biopesticide, The research aims to effect solution of sugar apple
seeds (Annona squamosa L.) for mortality Pediculus humanus var. capitis held at the Laboratory of
Parasitology Department of Health Analysis Poltekkes Surabaya Jl. Karangmenjangan No. 18A
Surabaya in March to May 2016. The samples are head lice (Pediculus humanus var. Capitis) are
taken from the boarding school population Buduran, Sidoarjo suffering Pediculosis capitis with a
solution of sugar apple seeds (Annono squamosa L.) at a concentration of 9%, 6 %, 3% and 1%.
Observations were made every 15 minutes during 120 minutes. The results showed that the
optimum concentration solution of sugar apple seeds (Annona squamosa L.) for mortality Pediculus
humanus var. capitis is 9% within 120 minutes.
