HUBUNGAN ANTARA JUMLAH LEUKOSIT DAN TROMBOSIT PADA PENDERITA DEMAM Typhoid
Abstract
Typhoid fever is a bacterial infectious disease caused by Salmonella typhi. In general, leukopenia
with lymphocytosis and thrombocytopenia are frequently found in the results of blood checkup.
Therefore, it is necessary to find out the number of leukocytes and platelets to determine whether
there is a relationship between those two in patients of typhoid fever hospitalized at Dr. H Koesnadi
Bondowoso Hospital or not.
The results of those 21 samples obtained a significant value > a. It shows that there is no relationship
between the number of leukocytes and platelets in patients of typhoid fever.
